Christiana Care Health System is recruiting for a full time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our level III neonatal intensive care and affiliated hospital units within the state. Delivering over 6300 newborns, Christiana Hospital Health System is also the only high risk delivering hospital in the state of Delaware. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is fully equipped to provide care up to 72 patients with the technology and personnel to provide the highest standards of acute care for the newest members of the families we serve.
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be a part of a medical team comprised of neonatologists, nurses and ancillary team members as well as actively engaged in providing education to residents and neonatal fellows. The ideal candidate will function as an advanced practice nurse, directing medical management of infants in various settings including the delivery room, special care nurseries. The qualified candidate will also participate in our specially trained neonatal transport team to stabilize and transport neonates born throughout the state and surrounding tristate area.

Requirements: Licensure or license eligible for Delaware Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse as set forth by the Delaware Board of Nursing License or license eligible as a Physician Assistant in the state of Delaware Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA Certification BLS required
