The Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences with Indiana University Health Physicians is a seeking a full-time fellowship trained Pediatric Radiologist to join its pediatric radiology division for a faculty position to provide overnight, in-house care of pediatric patients at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in Indianapolis and provide remote care to pediatric patients across the IU Health system and region. The position will be one of a team of three nighttime radiologists who will each work one week on, followed by two weeks off. The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences includes 120 clinical faculty, 44 residents, 10 physicists, and 19 research faculty. Riley Hospital for Children is a free-standing tertiary referral center and level one trauma center serving the entire state of Indiana. We perform approximately 100,000 examinations annually. Riley Hospital for Children is located in downtown Indianapolis in the Central Indiana region which has an affordable cost of living and excellent public and private school systems. Clinical expertise (inclusive of fluoroscopic procedures, but not IR procedures) in the care pediatric patients is required. The ability or interest in reading selected urgent Neuroradiology exams on ED patients and inpatients would be desirable in a prospective candidate but not is required. Candidates must be certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or its equivalent, have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology, and must have passed or be eligible for the CAQ examination in Pediatric Radiology.
