ChristianaCare is looking to hire a full time BC Division Chief of Ambulatory OBGYN to join our employed OBGYN team at ChristianaCare. The position includes 50% administrative time for ambulatory leadership and 50% clinical time at one of our clinical locations.
The Division Chief position is open due to organizational growth and will be part of an excellent team providing general Obstetric and Gynecologic care in the hospital as well as an ambulatory setting. The successful candidate will provide academic leadership and clinical oversite to 40 ambulatory providers - previous leadership experience is preferred but not required.
Through population health initiatives that align with ChristianaCare's standards of care the Division Chief will also partner with senior leadership to further grow and develop the ambulatory OBGYN services footprint. Travel from Christiana Hospital (906 beds) to ambulatory sites as needed to offer practice improvement strategies and streamline processes will be required.
Evaluate, diagnose and treat obstetrical and gynecological problems at ChristianaCare and affiliated community partners.
Cross collaborate with other ChristianaCare pillars of support to optimize global growth for women's healthcare.
Partner with senior leadership on population health and care management initiatives.
Precept residents, students and specified health care professionals, as appropriate, in the operating room, labor and delivery suite, triage, ambulatory and other sites necessary.
Contribute to the educational program for residents, fellows, and medical students in obstetrics and gynecology.
Work cooperatively with other members of the division and department in outreach programs.
Provide additional obstetrical and gynecological medical services as part of on-call responsibility.
