Shriners Hospitals for Children-Houston is relocating to the Shriners facility in Galveston, TX and currently has a need at the Galveston site for a full time Pediatrician/Hospitalist. This position reports directly to the Galveston hospital upon hire. Our family-centered approach to care is designed to support the whole family during the acute and reconstructive phases of children’s injuries or musculo-skeletal conditions.
This unique opportunity is for both inpatients and outpatients caring for the pediatric medical needs of burn, orthopaedic, and cleft lip & palate patient populations that the hospital serves. The position will also work in conjunction with the pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation physician on the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Requirements: MD or DO American Board Certification or Board Eligibility from a US based pediatric residency program. 3-5 years of experience is preferred. PALS certification is mandatory.
