You Will Be Responsible For:
Â·Attend new leader orientation and on-going management/leadership classes
Â·Adheres to and ensures staff adherence to the Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies. Projects professional standards and ethics by demonstrating regard for the dignity, confidentiality, and respect of all patients, family members, visitors, and hospital personnel as defined in the philosophy of the organization. Â·Performs other duties as requested by hospital leadership. Supports hospital and department mission, goals, and department metrics
Â·Utilizes knowledge and skill to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient in a health care delivery system. As appropriate, utilizes knowledge and skill to care for the neonatal patient
Â·Supervises Respiratory Care staff and daily operations
What will you need:
Â·Associateâ™s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Â·Three years of experience as an Advanced Critical Care Therapist
Â·Current, valid State license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Â·Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Â·Bachelorâ™s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary preferred
Â·Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Â·Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
Â·Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading Respiratory Care staff and daily operations to support the mission and goals of the hospital. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and re-evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of an assigned group of patients.Specific age groups are described in the position responsibilities. Adheres to and ensures staff adherence to the Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
