The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats, providing family oriented services to the home health patient with oral-motor and/or communication disorders secondary to developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders. This includes patient and caregiver education; discharge planning; and consultation to other professionals, clinics, or agencies.
Education & Experience
Masters degree in speech/language pathology or equivalent.
Two-year experience required, of which 1 year pediatric experience preferred.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
CPR certification State license or eligible for state licensure Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology
Current Texas drivers license in good standing
