Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
CHRISTUS Spohn South's Center N Life Triage is a family-centered Women's Services department tending to mothers who delivered by vaginal or C-section and well term infants. Our unit has the capacity to care for 18-24 mothers and babies. We have a team of dedicated professionals, who are striving to make our Mother-Baby unit a family-centered experience for our patients. We are proud to be a nationally recognized Texas Ten Step facility, which promotes and educates our patients and families on the benefits of breastfeeding.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
One-year experience in nursing preferred.
Current Texas State RN License
CPR (American Heart Association)
NRP required within 90 days of hire or transfer date
