The Pain Management Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating services from the Pain department, providing clinical support, and leadership on a daily basis. This RN will promote excellence in pediatric pain management through comprehensive nursing skills, acting as liaison between patients/families and medical staff, is an active member of the multidisciplinary pain management team, and participates in quality improvement programs.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current permit or license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
ADN required. BSN preferred
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN in either an outpatient/inpatient setting
BLS certification is required
Must obtain PALS certification within two years from hire/transfer date
