Summary The Respiratory Therapist on the Transport Team is responsible for planning, assessing and providing optimal Respiratory Management and Patient Care for the normal and high risk neonatal/pediatric patient. The RRT Transport Therapist is part of a team composed of a Transport Therapist, Nurse and Paramedic all of which are under the medical control of a Texas Licensed Physician. Modes of transport required to transfer patients include: ground ambulance, fixed wing aircraft and rotor wing aircraft.
