Our comprehensive program provides both diagnostic and state-of-the-art treatment opportunities for patients with primary immunodeficiency diseases.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Cook Children's primary service region includes Denton, Hood, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant and Wise counties, with an additional referral area encompassing approximately half of the state. Cook Children's Medical Center has nationally respected nursing staff with Magnet designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2006, re-designated in 2011. Cook Children's has a distinguished international reputation for providing extraordinary care and achieving positive outcomes in its Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Hematology and Oncology, Neonatology and Pulmonology programs.
With the culmination of a historic building initiative that began in 2009, the medical center is now licensed for 430 beds, making it one of the largest children's hospitals in the country. The 530,000 square foot expansion includes a Level IV NICU, more rooms in the Hematology and Oncology unit and the Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Care units, two new helipads, a food court, a patient library with classrooms, a patient business center, an indoor/outdoor playground and 1,300 additional parking spaces.
Cook Children's Physician Network is the employed physician component of Cook Children's Health Care System, a pediatric system of care where physician leadership is fostered and physicians actively participate in the strategic goals and mission of the organization.
