With five medical helicopters*, we transport critically injured or ill patients from 23 surrounding counties to receive the advanced care they need. The hospital is home to one of the busiest solid organ transplant centers in the country. TGH is a nationally designated comprehensive stroke center, and has a 32-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. Other outstanding centers include cardiovascular, orthopedics, high-risk and normal obstetrics, urology, ENT, endocrinology, and the Children’s Medical Center, which features a nine-bed pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric kidney transplant services. Department Overview The Facilities department maintains approximately 2.9 million square feet of building space. The Plant Operations & Maintenance Division has a full range of tradesmen, including electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and HVAC specialists who maintain and repair all critical building utility systems and infrastructure. The Design & Development Division works closely with the Construction Services Division and Senior Leadership to develop and manage all phases of healthcare design and renovation projects. Job Summary Provides technical management support for new construction/renovation and repair projects. Follows established T.G.H. policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, and performs the Management tasks required for this position and as outlined in the Construction Procedure Manual. Interviews, hires, schedules, assigns work to and evaluates the work performance of employees supervised. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Building Construction an accredited school. Five (5) years of Project Management Supervisor experience in Healthcare Construction or a Healthcare Facility. In lieu of a degree, ten (10) years of Project Management Supervisory experience of which five (5) years are in Healthcare Construction or a Healthcare Facility.
