Banner Staffing Services (BSS) offers Registry/Per Diem opportunities within Banner Health. Registry/Per Diem positions are utilized as needed within our facilities. These positions offer flexibility in scheduling and are great way to start your career with Banner Health. Registry/Per Diem positions do not have guaranteed hours and no medical benefits package is offered. Registry/Per Diem positions require a minimum of 4 shifts a month commitment. Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screen and background check (includes; employment, criminal and education) is required.

Tucson is home to two Banner Health Hospitals and multiple Specialty Clinics located near Davis Monthan Air Force Base and on the University of Arizona campus.

Banner University Medical Center, University Campus ,(BUMCT) Magnet(tm) designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Southern Arizona's only Level 1 Trauma Center, nationally recognized for providing exceptional patient care, teaching future health-care professionals, clinical ladder for nurses, and conducting groundbreaking research. Also located on the campus is Diamond Children's - recognized for its specialized pediatric services including neonatal and intensive care, emergency medicine and cancer therapies.

Banner - University Medical Center South (BUMCS) , Tucson, AZ - Cardiac Receiving Center and a designated "senior-friendly" hospital. The Behavioral Health Pavilion is home to the largest psychiatric inpatient service in Southern Arizona. The Campus also includes an Emergency department, with a state-designated trauma center.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. (NMTCB)

Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable. Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty required within 18 months of hire if applicable. BLS certification required.

This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
