Electrician

The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, routine repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment [high and low voltage]. Equipment and systems include: Normal electrical power/systems, emergency electrical power/systems including emergency generators, equipment repairs involving electrical motors and components, fire alarm/detection systems, nurse call systems, building access systems, security camera systems, door alarm systems, infant security systems and resident wandering systems. The Electrician will also be responsible for completing in-house remodeling projects involving electrical work and working with the information systems department for computer cable installations.

Current WI Electrician License or completion of certified journeyman program required. The knowledge of normal power systems, emergency power systems, low voltage security/communication systems and computer systems related to building operations technology. Ability to read blueprints and include schematics, one line drawings and low voltage designs. Minimum of five years electrical experience required, experience with building automation systems, experience with emergency power systems and previous hospital electrical experience is preferred. |
