SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Applications Coordinator is to facilitate customers' innovative means of utilizing the software to promote hospital objectives. Responsibilities include: system support of assigned computer applications, providing consultative services to customers regarding the functionality and design of the applications to support workflow, and to lead or be a key participant in IT related projects. This requires knowledge of customer workflow and work objectives, application functionality, database and configuration parameters, and integration of applications with other systems. This position works collaboratively with multiple groups within the organization, including all levels of leadership. This position is also responsible for maintaining vendor relationships.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information System or equivalent experience. Individual must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in Information Systems or Information Management function with an emphasis in Clinical application support. This Epic Lab position utilizes Beaker AP (Anatomic Pathology) or Beaker CP (Clinical Pathology). Being Epic certified is preferred. Must possess strong customer service and communication skills.
