The Patient CareAssistant II is an unlicensed caregiver working under the direction of theRegistered Nurse.  This position isresponsible for supporting the Women's and Children's Services Department tomaintain smooth, effective communication between healthcare practitioners,departments, patients, and visitors.  The Patient Care Assistant II position is accountable for the accurate,timely documentation in the patient medical record.  Ensures prompt, timely assistance whichcontributes to the patient's progress towards discharge.  This role is accountable for patientadmission, transfer, discharge flow processes, and for providing the most basicof patient care including data collection, personal hygiene, vital sign measurementand assistance with activities of daily living.
