Reporting to the Director of Case Management/UR, the Assistant Director of Case Management/UR utilizes the nursing process and organizational/leadership skills to coordinate services of staff to patients; is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating care given to the patients, including being admitted to the appropriate level of care in accordance with the vision and goals of Doctors Medical Center and the regulatory guidelines as set by state and federal rules. This role includes assisting with the fiscal management, human resource management, department operations, consultation, direct clinical intervention and education of the department. The Assistant Director fosters a supportive, professional environment for physicians, staff and patients. The Assistant Director is responsible for day-to-day management of the Case Management and Utilization Review departments with particular oversight for the Behavioral Health Center.



Qualifications:

  • CA RN License

  • 5+ years acute care Case Management experience

  • 2+ years experience in a Case Management leadership role in an acute care environment
