Work Hours/Shift:
Full Time Days
Monday – Friday
8:00am - 5:00PM 
*every other weekend 
 
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Uses sound decision making and the ability to prioritize objectives and tasks
  • Uses written and oral communications with managers and supervisors from other departments and our associates
  • Uses leadership ability to work with supervisors and frontline associates
  • Manages the ES training program
  • Utilizes a detailed knowledge of Room Care, Routine, and Project Environmental Services functions in their daily tasks
  • Uses infection control practices related to Environmental Services
  • Uses chemical safety and understands the utilization of each chemical as related to Environmental Services
  • Uses proper waste management practices
  • Utilizes Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Oversees purchasing of equipment and supplies for the department
  • Supervises Environmental Services Associates at Prairie Star location
  • Ability to plan, organize, direct and control
  • Knowledge of all phases of healthcare cleaning
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and customers
  • Ability to use Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to conduct meetings and training sessions
  • Knowledge of how to evaluate the financial impact of a process change
  • Ability to work with vendors
  • Knowledge of Infection Prevention Practices
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • 2 to 5 Years of Position-Related Experience
  • CEH (Certified Executive Housekeeper) or Equivalent preferred
  •  
 
Job Summary:

Performs a variety of environmental services to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition. Maintains supplies and/or equipment in clean and working condition.
