| Description Your Role : The housekeeping/EVS technician performs general cleaning tasks within and outside of the Medical Center. The housekeeping/EVS technician may remove solid and/or biohazard trash. Must have the ability to become knowledgeable of chemicals, procedures, and equipment used in completing assigned tasks. Department/Unit Summary As an Environmental Services Department at Vanderbilt Medical Center, we are dedicated to maintaining a healthy and clean environment for our patients and family members. We have a very diverse department with team members who enjoy what they do and are excited about being a part of the Vanderbilt family. We sustain a high cleaning standard by employing a nine-step cleaning process while training on proper chemical use, proper protective equipment, and patient safety. The Environmental Services Team is responsible for ensuring the hospital environment is patient ready and our team is full of employees who are always willing to help!
