Work Hours/Shift:


Full Time Days

Monday – Friday

8:00AM – 5:00PM

 

You Will Be Responsible For:                     

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain ongoing training program for clinical information system for all AHMG staff and physicians.  Provide computer based training, and identify and coordinate education credits
  • Serve as AHMG staff and physician resource throughout the Physician Enterprise for EHR applications
  • Serve as the main point of contact and application subject matter expert for the physician offices during the implementation process; on site go-live support and post implementation phase, including optimization
  • Analyze and report on the requirements of a physician's office as it pertains to the adoption and adherence to government and other incentive programs and compliance programs
  • Prepare recommendations and/or alternatives that address existing and potential areas of improvements in physician offices operations
  • Working knowledge of ambulatory care setting or ambulatory clinical experience
  • Facilitate required AHMG staff and physician training (clinical or computer)
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet physician and office staff educational needs
  • Provides support for all AHMG EHR needs
  • Provide regular status updates to project manager for all assigned tasks
  • Works to ensure prioritization of change requests or template builds
Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Associate’s Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
  • 2 to 5 Years of Position-Related Experience

 

Job Summary:

 

The EHR Support Specialist is responsible for optimizing the use of AHMG’s Electronic Health Record / Practice Management system for all AHMG employees. Improving the use of the system includes training of new employees, ongoing training of additional employees, updating employees on new functionality, collaborating with physicians, office staff, and management on reporting data and performing analytics to improve performance. Works to assist in report functionality to support care coordinators, and managed care functions.
