Business Office Manager, Center for Programs in Allied Health
In your pivotal, rewarding role as Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of the Business Office within the Center for Programs in Allied Health (CPiAH). You will monitor and analyze all reports for the operational success of the business office. These operations include, but are not limited to, department financial and human resource management for all faculty, staff, and students within CPiAH. You also will be responsible for other duties, as assigned, based upon operational needs of the business office within CPiAH.
DEPARTMENT/UNIT SUMMARY
Vanderbilt's Center for Programs in Allied Health consists of a team of 19 employees. This position has one direct report and reports to the Director of the Center for Programs in Allied Health. The team is housed within the office of Health Science Education and works with the programs of Allied Health and deals with all student enrollment services (registrar services, admissions services, and financial aid services).

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages program budgets, including creating new budgets and allocating resources appropriately
- Research, analyze, prepare, and reconcile data for department budget; identify and research variances; create unique and often complex reports; make projections and recommendations; develop cost comparisons with previous budgets.
- Department liaison for financial related tasks, including: manage inventory and making purchases of supplies and equipment, procurement card administrator, invoice processing,
- Management of student accounting including: payment collection, ledger card update and maintenance, providing student payment receipts
- Assist the financial aid office in student loan processing and serves in the Business Office capacity for the Center
- Assist faculty, staff and external guests with arranging business travel and processing expense reports
- Managing student onboarding procedures, collection of student paperwork and routing through appropriate channels
- Facilitates student institutional orientation for all programs within the Center
- Assists in review of prospective student applications
