Summary:

Directs the operation of clinical programs and promotes quality services for the community and patients. The Neonatal Program Manager, is under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director. This position is responsible for monitoring provisions of neonatal patient care services including review of policies, processes, and outcomes. The position is responsible for ensuring staff competency, education, and training to include support in breastfeeding to meet the needs of new mothers.The position has the responsibility to monitor neonatal patient care from admission, stabilization, through the continuum of care, and discharge to include transfer and transport (if applicable), inclusive of the quality assessment performance improvement (QAPI) program.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

·Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program, Bachelor Degree preferred

·Excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills

Experience

·Minimum of 1-3 years’ clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting

·One-year supervisory experience preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

·RN license in good standing in state of employment or a compact state , if applicable

·American Heart Association Basic Life Support

·Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

·NICU-specific specialty certification
