This position is for a Patient Services Coordinator at the Maplewood Pediatric Therapy location.
This individual will work in our outpatient clinic and have the opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative pediatric rehab team and contribute to the growth and development of this relatively new location. This is a full-time position that is benefit-eligible and is 80 hours per 2-week period (1.0 FTE).
The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination patient schedules in our outpatient pediatric therapy clinic. This individual will complete a variety of scheduling functions and communicate with patients and staff on a daily basis. This person will perform a variety of clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, pulling and tallying data and general word processing. This individual will also help with daily operations of the pediatric rehab clinic by ordering supplies, helping with the maintenance of the department, submit service requests and general departmental activities that support the pediatric team. The person in this role must also have excellent customer service skills and have strong in organizational and communication skills.
Healthcare experience in reception and scheduling patients
Vocational/Technical training or Associates Degree
Experience using an electronic health record (i.e. Epic)
