Venice Family Clinic is a nonprofit community health center celebrating 50 years of delivering quality primary care to people in need. As part of the health care team in a federally qualified health center and community primary healthcare clinic, supervise certified medical assistants, volunteer clinic assistants, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Registered Nurses. Provide primary care nursing services to the low-income and homeless of the Venice and Santa Monica communities.
Graduation from accredited School of Nursing - Required.
Current, active California Registered Nurse License - Required.
BSN -Required (Master’s degree preferred)
BLS Certification - Required
Demonstrated experience in the supervision and training of RN’s and Nursing support staff - Required.
Demonstrated work experience with children and adults – Required
Working knowledge of child abuse reporting laws – Required
Bilingual (Spanish/English) oral communication skills – Preferred
CN III Supervisor – 4 years or greater supervisor experience CN II Supervisor – Less than 4 years of supervisor experience
