We care for patients from a huge referral area, recording more than one million patient encounters a year through our medical center, neighborhood clinics, primary care offices, specialty clinics and outpatient settings. Summary: The Outpatient Scheduler serves as a liaison between the ordering providers, families, and other departments, successfully coordinating a variety of scheduled services. The Scheduler plays a critical role in maintaining open communication and rapport when scheduling for efficient physician and practice productivity. The Scheduler is responsible for communicating effectively and professionally, understanding and coordinating physician orders, collecting pertinent patient information, distributing required information and materials, and scheduling services appropriately. Organization, flexibility, and good communication skills are paramount to this position. Education and Experience:
