Our physician-owned medical group specializes in the care of children from birth through 21-years of age. We provide up-to-date, high quality care for children's complete health and well-being. Our providers include physicians, nurse practitioners (pediatric, family, and psychiatric), and a clinical psychologist.
We are seeking a Clinical Director to lead our team of nurses, triage nurses, and medical assistants. History of excellent rapport with providers and line-level staff is essential.
Florida VFC experience highly preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership role, effectively managing a clinical staff team.

Job Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervision of clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants.
General Job Summary: Leadership position responsible for day-to-day supervision of nurses or other clinicians and allied health staff within specific clinical protocols.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Participates in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff.
Responsible for clinical staff schedule and coverage.
Facilitation and oversight of all medical supply, vaccine, and related item vendor accounts, ordering, and inventory.
Provides professional and technical support to staff and troubleshoots the delivery of patient care. Responds to requests from families and other concerned parties regarding patient care issues.
Identifies training needs for staff and facilitates staff development. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of training, orientation, and education programs.
Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulations, and procedures. Recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures to the department manager.
Maintains office all clinical quality licenses and corresponding requirements.
Assists in PCMH annual recertification.
Oversees HEDIS and other quality related measures and educating staff on appropriate quality care practices.
Reviews and uses clinical and medical records to determine health care patterns and assignment of appropriate resources. Ensures corrective actions.
Other duties as determined and assigned by President Physician and Practice Administrator.
Education: Bachelor's degree in clinical field, e.g., BSN.
Experience: Minimum five years of experience in increasingly responsible clinical positions including some experience with supervision of clinical teams.
Knowledge of clinical and theoretical nursing/clinical processes and principles. Familiar with state and federal laws related to health care.
Knowledge of human resources management principles.
Knowledge of medical practice protocols and standards.
Skill in applying quality assurance techniques.
Skill in training and supervision of staff, both new and existing team members.
Skill in documentation of patient care including reviewing for accuracy and completeness.
Ability to communicate clearly with many different levels of staff.
Ability to analyze medical records and documentation and identify problem areas.
Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing and other clinical managers, physicians, and administrative staff.
Equipment Operated: Standard clinical and office equipment.
Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam rooms. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, biohazards, and other conditions common in clinic settings.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Variety of walking, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Occasional need to lift/carry/move up to 50 pounds of equipment. Frequent stress if dealing with multiple tasks and staff.
