Cook Children’s (in Fort Worth, Texas) is recruiting a full time BC/BE Child Psychiatrist to join our team of eight Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists and six Advanced Practice Providers. The incoming physician will be primarily Outpatient, with rotating weekend call coverage for the Inpatient service. We have a well-established, outpatient and inpatient pediatric program which provides a full range of early intervention, rehabilitation, medical, and mental health services for children. Our interdisciplinary team consists of child & adolescent psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, child psychologists, developmental pediatricians, as well as speech, physical, and occupational therapists. This is a unique position which offers a variety of clinical activities, including evaluation, ongoing treatment and follow-up, consultation, and education in a stimulating atmosphere of close collaboration with other disciplines in the care of the child.
Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencement of employment.

In 2019, Cook Children’s expanded to provide services to families in Prosper, Texas. To date, services offered include primary care, ambulatory surgery, urgent care, specialty care, imaging and outpatient laboratory services. A medical center and retail pharmacy are scheduled to open in late 2022.
