Physical Therapist-I/P
Summary The inpatient staff physical therapist will have the education, knowledge and skill to provide in-patient services focusing on functional skills to enhance development, restore function and to prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness and injury. Evaluation, treatment and home programming are provided for children with: orthopedic injuries, brain injuries and neurological impairments, hematology and oncology disorders, musculoskeletal injuries or disorders, neuromuscular disorders, gross motor delays, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Also includes evaluations for wheelchairs, walkers and other assistive devices. The PT will provide therapy services for chronically ill patients admitted to hospital for lengthy stays, as well
