Position Summary

This position works under the direction and is supervised by a Clinical Nurse to perform a variety of direct patient care services to assist in the implementation of selected portions of the care plan in accordance with the regulations established by the Arizona Emergency Medical Services laws.

Education

• Completion of a course of study leading to a high school diploma or equivalent. (Required)

Experience

• Patient care experience. (Preferred)

Certifications

• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or obtained within 90 days of hire, current CNA, or current EMT/Paramedic certification OR currently enrolled in an accredited RN program with clinical nursing skills course completed. (Required)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
