Summary Responsible for assessing the developmental level and needs of children and families and provide interventions appropriately. Works collaboratively with families and health care providers with a focus on decreasing anxiety, providing pain management techniques, providing psychosocial-emotional support, promoting effective coping, preparing children for medical procedures and encouraging family centered care. Education Minimum of Bachelor's Degree with an educational emphasis on human growth and development or child life.
