Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the growing outpatient practices in Sparta and Newton, New Jersey, affiliated with Newton Medical Center. This role is a great opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to demonstrate their passion and develop advanced patient care skills while growing a program, all done in collaboration with a specialized interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to performing comprehensive health histories and physical assessments of patients living with serious illness, incorporate holistic aspects of the patients' care and accurate documentation of findings in a timely manner, and continuum of care planning. The ideal candidate will provide services primarily in an outpatient setting and must be able to see all age patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. The applicant will be an active team member and should be comfortable communicating and working as a team player with 4 MDs, 5 NPs, float staff, and medical assistants. The hours are 7:30am - 8:00pm.

Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
ACLS and BLS certification required
Must be DOT (Department of Transportation) Certified
Must have 1-2 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
Must have excellent communication and computer skills
Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
