Position Summary
**PRN, Variable Shifts**
This position performs a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures to providedata for diagnosis and monitoring of disease and injuries in accordance withall applicable standards, regulations, and licensing requirements. Requirescompetency in a variety of equipment and technology. Performs duties in arange of acute care pediatric-centered settings.
Education
- Graduate of an accreduited ultrasound program (Required)
Experience
- Completion of an ultrasound clinical rotation through an ultrasoundprogram (Required)
- Previous pediatric experience (Preferred)
Certifications
- ARDMS registered in at least one of the following:
- OB/GYN
- Abdomen
- Neuro
- Vascular
- Pediatrics
- Musculoskeletal Vascular registryrequired within 12 months of hire (RVT preferred). (Required)
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the AmericanHeart Association (Required)
Special Skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, both within thedepartment and within the organization, to provide the best familycentered care through effective communication and operationalefficiency. (Required)
