Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join AMG Orthopedics at Wayne. We are searching for a dedicated and dependable PA to provide coverage for our supportive and well-established outpatient orthopedic team. This position primarily focuses on outpatient care in multiple locations.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of orthopedic experience, including previous experience in the operating room. They should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while also demonstrating effective teamwork skills. The primary responsibilities of the PA will involve assisting in orthopedic cases, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, evaluating, and treating patients in the office, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care. Flexibility for travel to multiple sites, including Paramus, Morristown, and Pompton Plains, is a crucial requirement for this role, with occasional travel on short notice.

Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- Must be certified by the National Board of Certification of Orthopaedic Physician's Assistants
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Open to new graduates
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred
- OR experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
