The Pediatric Care Coordinator assists with needs of clinic patients and facilitates with newborn follow-ups/referrals from the hospital. The coordinator will work closely with providers and centralized scheduling and act as Bidirectional Bridge for communication. The coordinator may connect with hospitalist in the morning for newborn follow-ups and work with clinic providers/staff afterwards for their needs. The Pediatric Care Coordinator develops effective partnerships with patients/families, staff and systems to create environment of high quality, evidence based, and patient focused outcomes. In addition to the duties and responsibilities in this job description, the Pediatric Care Coordinator assumes additional duties as assigned in support of the overall function and mission of the practice.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED Certified

Registered, or Credentialed Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or ABR-OE)

American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
