Position Summary

Nights, 6pm - 6am

The Critical Care Pediatric Transport RN works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, to deliver professional nursing care in a transport and critical care environment, that is appropriate to patient age and condition and that are in accordance with established guidelines and protocols, evidence-based practice standards, hospital goals, values and regulatory requirements.

Education

• Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree (Required)
• Bachelor`s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program (Preferred)

Experience

• Two years of NICU, PICU, CICU or high acuity pediatric emergency department (Level 1 Trauma Center) experience (Required)
• Critical Care Transport experience (Preferred)

Certifications

• Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
• BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC). Assistance to obtain these will be offered during on-boarding. (Preferred)
