The Maternity Care Coordinator (MCC) reports to the Chief of Staff and provides routine contact and support to women Veterans during their pregnancy and through 1-year post-partum. The MCC assess Veteran health concerns through a holistic and trauma-informed lens and provides perinatal and post-natal education to women Veterans. In addition, the MCC assists with pregnancy options counseling, explains coverage and benefits and coordinates community and VA health care services for the Veteran.
