Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort patients; record medical history and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Perform permitted clinical tasks (specimen collection, injections, venipuncture).
• Communicate instructions and schedule tests, treatments, and follow-ups.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Manage patient records, referrals, and incoming calls/messages.
• Support safe, high-quality care and excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• MA certification required (or must obtain within 6â“12 months per state requirements).
• CPR certification required.

Experience:

• 1+ years in an office-based healthcare setting preferred.

Experience Industry: Healthcare

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow universal precautions and maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards and patient safety.

The expected pay for the position ranges from $21.00 - $27.40 per hour. The actual pay range will be computed based on years of relevant experience.
